Biography

Belinda believes in the power of the mind, the power of purposeful play, and the power of compassionate leadership as a path to a more peaceful, authentic, and joyful world. She is known for her directness, honesty, and humor to nudge others to think harder, work smarter, and connect better. She merges research with practical application marked by humor.

Dr. Belinda Chiu focuses on individuals and organizations to co-create healthier ecosystems and cultivate authenticity.

Founder of Hummingbird research coaching consulting, Belinda brings 20+ years of experience in leadership development and training, executive coaching, consulting, public diplomacy, and higher education to be as a catalyst for leaders of diverse experiences so that they may be of greatest service to others. She works with a wide range of organizations such as the ESPN, Regeneron, Sony, Stanford, and UNOPS. An author, speaker, and ICF-PCC level executive coach, Belinda works with individuals at all levels, from the C+ suite to emerging leaders. She also engages at organizational levels to build more inclusive and equitable global teams. Belinda holds a bachelor’s from Dartmouth College, a master’s from the Fletcher School of Global Affairs, and a doctorate from Teachers College, Columbia University.
