Role Description

We’re looking for a hands-on B2B demand generation contractor to own and execute our digital advertising strategy. Your mission is straightforward: maximize qualified leads from our digital ad spend across Google AdWords, LinkedIn Ads, and 6sense ABM campaigns. You’ll work closely with our Head of Marketing to turn budget into pipeline, targeting HR and L&D leaders at enterprise organizations.

This is a strategy-plus-execution role. We are looking for someone who is experienced in B2B and can assess what’s working, recommend where to invest, build and optimize campaigns, and report on results. Success is measured in qualified leads.

What You’ll Do

Paid Media Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and manage paid campaigns across Google AdWords (search, display), LinkedIn Ads (sponsored content, lead gen forms, conversation ads), and 6sense ABM display advertising
  • Allocate and optimize digital ad budget across channels based on performance data and target account engagement signals
  • Build and refine audience targeting strategies aimed at HR directors, L&D leaders, CHROs, and talent development professionals at enterprise organizations
  • Create and A/B test ad copy, creative briefs, and landing page recommendations that resonate with our buyer personas

Account-Based Marketing (ABM)
  • Leverage 6sense intent data and predictive analytics to identify and prioritize high-value target accounts
  • Design and execute account-based advertising campaigns that align with sales outreach and nurture sequences
  • Coordinate ABM display campaigns with LinkedIn and Google efforts for a cohesive multi-channel experience

Optimization & Reporting
  • Monitor campaign performance daily/weekly, making data-driven adjustments to bidding, targeting, creative, and budget allocation
  • Track and report on key metrics: cost per lead (CPL), cost per qualified lead, conversion rates, click-through rates, and return on ad spend (ROAS)
  • Build and maintain dashboards in Google Analytics (GA4) and HubSpot to provide visibility into funnel performance from ad click to qualified lead
  • Deliver regular performance summaries with clear recommendations on where to scale, cut, or experiment

Funnel Integration
  • Ensure leads captured through paid channels are properly routed into HubSpot with accurate source attribution and UTM tracking
  • Partner with our team to align ad campaigns with landing pages, content offers, and nurture workflows
  • Collaborate on lead scoring criteria to ensure “qualified lead” is consistently defined and measured

 

What We’re Looking For

Required
  • 3+ years of hands-on B2B demand generation experience, with direct management of paid media budgets
  • Proven track record of generating qualified leads through Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and ABM platforms
  • Working experience with 6sense (campaign setup, audience creation, intent data activation)
  • Proficiency in HubSpot (lead management, attribution, workflow integration) and Google Analytics / GA4
  • Strong analytical skills: comfortable building dashboards, interpreting funnel data, and making budget allocation decisions based on performance
  • Ability to work independently, own the strategy, and proactively communicate results and recommendations


Nice to Have
  • Experience working in the HR or corporate learning and development market
  • Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO) and landing page testing
  • Background working with lean marketing teams or as a fractional/contract demand gen lead

Engagement Details

  • Contract type: Independent contractor, project-based with flexible hours
  • Compensation: $5,000–$8,000/month, commensurate with experience and scope
  • Location: Remote; overlap with US business hours preferred
  • Duration: Initial 3-month engagement with potential to extend based on performance and mutual fit
  • Location: Remote/flexible within the United States.
