Pressure-tested Leadership Development
Leading with Emotional Dynamics builds emotional intelligence that enables leaders to access the right behaviors in the right moment - especially when they're under pressure.
Before and After: How Leaders Change
From reactive to steady under pressure
They catch the moment between a trigger and a reaction, and respond deliberately instead of on autopilot.
From impulsive to clear decisions amid the unknown
They see past their first read of a situation and decide with a fuller picture, even when the path isn't obvious.
From a single lens to wider perspective
They recognize their own lens and consider what else might be true, so they can work well with people who see things very differently.
From siloed focus to trust across teams
They listen beneath the words and build the trust that gets work done across teams and functions.
From resisting change to facing it with curiosity
They meet change with curiosity instead of resistance, and help their teams do the same.
From managing stress to using emotions as fuel
They don't just manage stress. They draw on emotions like curiosity, confidence, and care to energize themselves and their teams.

What's Different About This Program
In this program, leaders build attention skills alongside EQ, a specialized capability few emotional intelligence programs teach. This skill helps leaders notice where their attention goes under pressure and bring it back to what matters, so they can use their EQ skills in the moment instead of after the fact.
This skill is more important than ever in today's environment as it enables leaders to become more purposeful in their awareness and focus.
5 Reasons to Choose Leading with Emotional Dynamics
1. Built on the Perception Box™
It’s the only emotional intelligence program for leaders built on the science of Perception Box™, a proprietary model of how experience, beliefs, and familiar patterns shape what we feel and do. Leaders learn to work upstream, on how they perceive a situation before they react.
2. Designed for the pressures of real work
This isn’t a behavioral program that tells leaders what to do differently. It changes how they respond, so they can meet the pressure and unexpected challenges that come with leading every day.
3. Grounded in world-renowned methodology
The program draws on the best of Search Inside Yourself, the emotional intelligence program developed at Google that has reached more than a hundred thousand people worldwide.
4. Includes attention training
5. Personalized with an insight assessment
Before the program begins, each leader completes the Leading with Emotional Dynamics Insights assessment, which shows their strengths and growth areas. It personalizes each leader’s experience, and it gives facilitators a view of the whole group so they can tailor the live sessions to the people in the room.

Transform Teams with an EQ Foundation
Excelling with Emotional Dynamics brings the same EQ foundation to individual contributors, helping them make better decisions, build strong working relationships, and adapt to change. Organizations often run both programs so leaders and their teams share a common language.
1. Who is Leading with Emotional Dynamics designed for?
Leading with Emotional Dynamics is designed for leaders who manage people and work under pressure. Organizations typically use it as a foundational program to build a shared set of emotional intelligence skills, from new managers to experienced leaders taking on larger roles. An individual contributor version is also available.
2. Who facilitates the program?
You can choose. SIY Global's expert facilitators can deliver the live sessions for your organization, or you can train your own internal facilitators to deliver the program through our Facilitator Certification program.
3. Can the program be delivered virtually?
Yes. The live sessions can be delivered virtually or in person, as two 2-hour sessions or a single half-day. The self-paced learning and application challenge are completed online, so the program works for distributed and global teams.
4. Can the program be tailored to our organization?
Yes. We regularly tailor the program to fit an organization's context. That can include scenarios that reflect your industry and culture, a different program length, or a different cohort size. Talk with us about what you need, and we'll shape the program around it.
5. How many leaders can take part?
Each cohort includes up to 24 leaders, which keeps the live sessions interactive. Larger organizations run multiple cohorts, and cohort size can be adjusted to fit your needs.
6. How much does the program cost?
Pricing varies based on the number of participants and cohorts, the delivery format, facilitation, and any tailoring. Talk with us about your goals, and we'll put together options that fit your organization.
7. How do you measure results?
Each leader completes the Leading with Emotional Dynamics Insights pre-assessment at the start of the program and a post-assessment at the end, so you can see how their skills have grown. A program evaluation after the live sessions also captures participant feedback.
We are also excited to work with clients to customize measurement and ROI options that fit within your specific context.
8. What is the Perception Box™?
The Perception Box™ is the model we use to teach leaders how experience, beliefs, and familiar patterns shape what we feel and do. Created by Elizabeth Koch, it's grounded in the latest neuroscience of how the brain builds emotions. This model helps leaders notice what's shaping their reactions in the moment, so they can choose how to respond.
9. Where does this program fit in a leadership development curriculum?
It's designed as a foundation. Organizations use it as a first step or alongside programs on coaching, change, and team leadership, so every leader shares the same EQ skills and language. It's often included in in-person or virtual programs for newly promoted or high-potential leaders, and it's used as a common foundation when an organization is going through significant cultural change.
