David Edgerton

David Edgerton serves as Senior Vice President, Information Technology and Corporate Enablement at Erie Insurance. David graduated from Auburn University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and received an MBA from North Carolina State University. Prior to Erie Insurance, he served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years as a Nuclear Power Propulsion Surface Officer.

David joined Erie Insurance in 2014, serving in leadership roles within Corporate Applications, Personal Lines, Erie Family Life, and Data. In 2023, he was named the Corporate Enablement Portfolio Owner and responsible for Erie Insurance's Enterprise Business Agility transformation.

David seeks out opportunities to take part in large scale cultural change, focused on empowering team members within a connected and fulfilling environment. This has been a consistent theme in David's assignments at Erie Insurance and continues within Enterprise Business Agility and Corporate Enablement. He exercises his passion by coaching individuals on self-awareness to enable successful navigation through complex landscapes, while practicing compassionate candor.

Outside of work, David enjoys travelling, whether vacationing with family, a work trip, or an international adventure.

Rich Fernandez

Rich is the CEO of SIY Global. He was previously the director of executive education and people development at Google, where he was also one of the first SIY teachers. Rich previously founded Wisdom Labs and has also served in senior roles at eBay, J.P. Morgan Chase and Bank of America. He received his PhD in Psychology from Columbia University and is a frequent contributor to the Harvard Business Review.
